Aniseed Myrtle Oil

The leaves of the Aniseed Myrtle tree have a distinct aniseed flavour, and are used as a spice in sweet or savory food dishes, sauces, breads, biscuits, cakes, confectionery, or as a herbal tea. Steam distillation is used to produce essential oil for use in aromatherapy or as an essence for flavouring food and liqueurs. Can be used by fishermen to mask body oils and as a fish attractant.
